![]() ![]() Triple A studios have had a really bad year, with some very notable examples of just downright terrible releases (Assassins Creed is the big example that everyone agrees was a poor release across all platforms, but there are other notable ones like Watch Dogs). Yes, and I actually think this is a problem with the gaming industry in general right now. There's 50 shitty unfinished and unoriginal games for every one game worth playing It isn't, it's a problem with both indie and AAA developers. I want games I can get more than 6-8 hours on before being completely done with it.Īm I the only one that finds myself blankly staring at the top sellers list and then closing Steam and doing something else altogether?Įdit: it seems like some of you think I'm saying this is a problem with Steam. I don't need to play any more crafting based survival games, I'm bored of the 2d pixel art fad, I don't want cute little tower defense games and I'm definitely not about to install a dead f2p MMO with "mixed" reviews, I want a serious game that has me itching to get home and play it. What happened? Is it just me? I feel like I have this stupidly overpowered PC and nothing in my library/store to justify it. There was a time where I'd avoid the store for the safety of my wallet but now, I spend sometimes over an hour scrolling through the store and finding absolutely nothing that even interests me enough to watch a gameplay video, let alone buy.
